Michael CrowleyPRINCIPAL
After graduating from Loyola University with concentrations in Business and Communications, Michael joined the consulting division of IT startup LCG Technologies, a Baltimore based technology service provider. In 1996 he was assigned to the firm’s premier client, Kelly & Associates Insurance Group (KAIG), Maryland’s largest administrator of health care benefits. For eight years, Michael directed an in-house technology design team that designed, developed, and implemented all of the mission-critical applications at KAIG. By the year 2000 KAIG became one of the first administrator’s nationally to provide health insurance proposals, enrollment and account management via the Internet in a secure manner. While working as a program developer, database administrator, consultant and network engineer, Michael quickly progressed through the consulting division and became LCG’s Director of IT Applications in 2000. During his tenure at LCG, the company grew from 3 employees to upwards of 80 employees by the year 1999. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and has over 25 years of systems, technical and management experience in IT technologies concentrating in insurance, manufacturing, finance, and retail. In 2004 Michael’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found Baltimore Consulting. |
Jim BarbourPRINCIPAL
Jim graduated from Lehigh University with concentrations in Finance and Computer Science and in the early 90's ascended to Controller at the Connecticut based F&S Oil Company. For 11 years Jim piloted the teams in in charge of accounting, financials, management reporting, payroll, banking, audit reviews and purchasing. The Internet boom led Jim to Orlando, Florida where he joined Petroleum Software Systems, a division of EDS. In 1998, Jim directed the implementation of accounting software systems on client sites in the energy market throughout the Northeast, USA. In 1999, Jim became a key player in the Y2K implementation and rollout of new operating systems to Agway Energy at over 70 plant locations throughout the country. In 2000, Jim joined LCG Technologies, a Baltimore based technology service provider, where he became involved with the firms premier client, Kelly & Associates Insurance Group (KAIG). Jim immediately played a critical role in the design and development of the client’s secure Internet applications and office automation processes. Jim is a Microsoft Certified Professional and has over 25 years of systems, technical and management experience in IT technologies concentrating in insurance, manufacturing, finance, and retail. Ryan BrooksPRINCIPAL
Ryan graduated from Towson University with a dual degree in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration and joined Baltimore Consulting in 2008. Over the last 12 years, Ryan gained invaluable experience while working as an application developer, database administrator, strategy consultant, and network engineer. Ryan was a key component in launching the MSP division of Baltimore Consulting and oversees the technical delivery and service teams. Within 10 years he became a partner in the company, is a member of the NEXUS Committee with the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce and other Young Professional groups and is very involved with the local business community. |
